Song of the Woods, Temple of the Men

Description

The Forest is a temple, whose living pillars murmur indistinct words, sing sweet refrains; human passes among the trees, pillars endowed with countless familiar eyes. He may even be able to catch a glimpse of a hamadryad's face out of the corner of his eye. The elusive souls of the Forest thus become a place of veneration; the link between temple and God is inescapable. And so the gentle refrains, accompanied by a brief breeze, become embedded in the prayers of men.
