Amethyst

Description

The girl's face is struck by a Dionysian sadness; Dionysus himself had it on her face when he realized he had caused the premature death of an innocent person. And for what reason, if not the most trivial of reasons? Artemis had rejected him, again, and he had condemned an innocent to a terrible fate. Pity Artemis transformed the young Amethyst into pure white crystals. Dionysus shed tears and the best wine he had. This is how the amethyst was born.
